C+S = Together FOREVER~

This incredible couple has been in love FOREVER!  And by forever, I mean FOREVER!  I have known beautiful Ms. C for years and have loved getting to know her and can you believe she has been in love with her incredible Mr. S (sounds like a super hero) since she was TWELVE!  That’s right, when most of us were busy with braces and passing notes, she was falling in love with her husband!  So it’s only fitting that since she has loved him forever, she married him and made it EVERLASTING :) what a fun love story!  I am so happy for them both and wish them a life time of joy (ok, I know that’s impossible, but here’s to a LOT of joy!  ha ha ha).

P.S. Remember to apply for the High School Senior model search, good until today!  I’ll send emails out tomorrow.  THANKS!  APPLY HERE.

Strike a POSE ~ (photobooth)

Last night had to be one of the funnest receptions I have photographed … the couple = fantastic, the families = perfect, the decor = incredible, the food = tasty, the company = enjoyable, BUT the hoots and hollers coming from the STRIKE A POSE PHOTOBOOTH = hysterical!  What a downright terrific idea!  As the guests entered the reception hall they rummaged through a huge bin of props … from wigs, to glasses, to boas, to turkeys (you don’t wanna know, ha ha ha) … to the little mustaches on sticks (my personal favorite) … after they picked the perfect ensemble they climbed into the booth and struck their pose for some HILARIOUS shots … they then added one of their pictures (of course they got to take some home) to the sign in book and left the couple with not only their well wishes, but also their fabulous faces :)

This good time was brought to them by STRIKE A POSE PHOTOBOOTHS and not only were the products great, Lori and Burton were so great too.  You couldn’t ask for better service.  Using this at your next event would be … well let’s just say NOT using this at your next event would be insane!  You must LOOK THEM UP, LIKE THEM, and CALL THEM.  You will not be sorry and your guests will thank you :)

Of course, after taking a turn in front of the camera with the bride (AND the groom), my assistant and I had to take a turn too, I do have to admit, I wanted to take the wig home :)

Thanks STRIKE A POSE (and Caitlin and Spencer) for a unique twist…the rest of your wedding sneak peek will be soon!

Love warms my heart

I am VERY excited about my day today :) I get to go and celebrate with a dear friend of mine as she makes the best decision of her life! She is going to wed her sweetheart and they will live happily ever after! (Ok, so I know there will be bumps in the road, but I know she is going to love the married life.) I have watched her blossom into the incredible woman she is today and I couldn’t be happier (and down right PROUD) for/of her. Congrats to both of you … let’s party!

A mixture of styles, an INCREDIBLE shoot!

Bridals and Off Camera Flash seem to be born for one another.  This gorgeous bride met up with me to try it out and WOWZERS!  We first did some single shots and then met up with the groom on top of the mountain…after the sun went down we put away the lights and finished up with some natural light shots.  Tons of fun … I love the results.  Enjoy and congrats to the darling couple :)

A Wedding at Wolf Creek …

Ok so, I know I live in Ogden Valley and I know I may be a little bias, BUT Wolf Creek Lodge is an INCREDIBLE wedding venue with a view like no other!  I have worked a lot of weddings and the staff at Wolf Creek went above and beyond with the bridal couple and us vendors, it was such a pleasure to work with them.  If you are looking for a super fabulous location, an incredible view, and EXCELLENT service you MUST visit Wolf Creek in Eden.

This couple put on quite the show!  It was a beautiful wedding with all the fun of a great big family party!  I wish them all the best in their new adventure together as a family.

Now … One last bit of incredible-ness (totally not a word) at this wedding was the videographer, Jesse Felter with Liquid Vision Films, again, I have worked a lot of weddings and he is a FANTASTIC videographer with such a great eye and really a pleasure to work with, I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a video vendor for any event.  Check him out!
