“Where there is love … there is life” ~Gandhi

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family through many life changes and moments … from a wedding to a baby to a high school senior to now … and they are a pleasure :)   They give me hope with all my girls!  (Did you hear?  We are having another girl!)  We were worried a little about the wind and the rain (which just decided to roll in out of nowhere) but it turned out to be a lovely evening.  Thanks for coming out to play with me, enjoy your sneak peek …

Vintage Cupcake Portrait Party “Sneak Peek” … prepare yourself!

Ok, so I can’t possibly begin to narrow these down to just a few … a simple collage won’t do the images justice … the blog gallery is a slideshow so press play :)   BUT visit me on FACEBOOK for the complete sneak peek … but here is a sampling of the utter wonderfullness that is Vintage Cupcake Company in Ogden.  They were gracious hostesses and the day couldn’t have been better!  Isn’t it funny … I am taking my studio lights outside and taking my natural light images inside!  I truly enjoyed the day and ALL the clients were wonderful!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and you’ll see your cd in the mail in about 3 weeks :)

Friends and Flash :)

My dear friends and their cute little ones came out to do some family pictures and indulged me while I played with my new off camera flash skills, I forgot a few things, but over all think they turned out fun!  I also don’t have all the necessary equipment to do what we did at the workshop so I made a hillbilly set up :) Thanks for putting up with my strange tactics!  We started with the flash in the field and ended up with some good old natural light images at the truck …

Rock that OCF (Off Camera Flash) with Ali Hohn!

I had the awesome pleasure of attending a workshop with the INCREDIBLE Ali Hohn at one of her Rock that OCF workshops (visit her link, you won’t regret it!)  We had a full day of learning how to use various lighting sources to create breath-taking images all day (that’s right, all day!) It was so neat to be able to shoot all day long with full sun and get great images.  I am very excited about this new path in my photography and will be saving my pennies to buy all the necessary equipment :)   BUT~ you MUST see why!  Here’s my images from the workshop and there are so many fun ones, my favorites came from our evening shoot and you can tell I liked one model in particular but they were all great … to see more images from my experience at the Rock that OCF visit me on FACEBOOK as I posted more there… enjoy … I am :)
