Beating the storm …

Lately our weather here in Utah has been unpredictable (to say the least, but HEY, it is Utah). So when you wake up the morning of a shoot and look out the window to sunny skies, you wonder … will this last? As you watch the clouds roll in, you keep hoping … please just hold on Well luckily for us, the weather held out and this darling family and I (and a cute gal pal of mine) headed out to enjoy the cool, spring weather in an awesome location. Little Miss “P” was much more interested in exploring the scenery than picture taking, but she managed to let me snap a few shots off … what a doll, I love this age! After the family shoot we headed to her house to grab a couple of pictures with her favorite pals YO GABBA GABBA, and boy does she love them! She’s only 18 months and can say all their names and count them, this little ladies a smartie!

Beautiful Wedding, Beautiful Bride.

Now that the wedding is over I can share with you our beautiful bridals. This darling bride meet up with me in my times of sorrow (ha ha ha) I was a mess so hopefully she didn’t judge me by my attire. (I am SO glad I am finally feeling better!) We had their wedding last night (sneak peek coming soon) and it was a fabulous event. But before we get to the wedding day, I must share with you some of the bridals we took a month ago. Angi, you are beautiful, enjoy happily ever after!

Remember THIS darling couple?!?!? Well we meet again Big Smiles! We met up this time to get the whole family in on the fun. (Good thing the weather held up). This time this darling couple is expecting! Super exciting! And doesn’t she just scream pregnancy glow?!?! Truly! So beautiful! You have a GREAT family, full of love and I am so excited for you guys (and all those aunts, uncles and grandparents!)

I entered my first ever photo contest. Something I normally don’t do, but it looked fun I entered Pioneer Woman’s “Happiness” Photography Assignment. And they picked one of mine in a group! Yay! Fun, there are SO many awesome photos in the assignment I just feel honored to be among them! I have always always always loved this photo. This is a brand new baby and her namesake, her great grandma. I just love it and I hope you do too … thanks for sharing this with me!
