Okay so the day started off bad, slept thru the alarm, didn’t get up until my seventh grader needed to be on the bus in 10 minutes … missed the bus. The kindergarten-er climbed on the bus all by herself without anyone to help her and rode away (me: holding back tears) I got my nail appt time mixed up and came an hour early (I really didn’t mind that part though, I had to run errands anyway). I missed the kindergarten-er getting off the bus by 2 minutes so she was scared walking down the street all by her lonesome. I spent who knows how many hours on the phone dealing with people and money (I hate bill paying day) one company we overpaid and they have a 6-8 week policy on refunds (I think I’ll make this my payment policy too) another company said they never received the check (although the bank shows it being cashed two months ago) our water bill went up by $60 per month AND my camera … oh my camera! I called the company I purchased it from and they said they gave me a contract at the time I purchased the camera (and the “we’ll fix anything that happens to it – 3 year warranty) and that I had to register the warranty within 30 days of purchase … simple problem, I received NO SUCH CONTRACT! The warranty is up thru Canon (although I can upgrade to a new camera for $1600)
And then, I borrowed a friends camera to take senior pics tonight of one of my favorite gals and found out (a little too late) that it won’t hook up to my off camera flash lights, bummer, so we proceeded without the lights and about 15 shots into the shoot … the battery died and I couldn’t find the replacement 
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Good thing she is so sweet and we were able to reschedule (I better get my butt together!) So today … I surrender, the white flag is up and I am going to bed before I hurt, confuse or damage anything else … but before I do 
I’ll share a few of the 15 shots we did get, cuz she is a doll!
